THIEVES broke into a Seaton church and stole charity money, between September 20 and 21.The United Reformed Church, in Cross Street, had cash from a Marie Curie collection taken. A church elder, who did not wish to be named, said: "It's sad that someone should want to do this. You don't expect this."We felt great disappointment that we put all this effort into fundraising for Marie Curie for a large chunk of it to go to some less worthy cause. The person responsible is obviously somewhat amiss. If they have to do something like this it's a very sorry case.
