Handbag taken from High Street last Friday
THE contents of a handbag stolen from Honiton on Friday could be dumped somewhere in the town - and the victim is appealing for anybody who finds them to contact police.
Speaking to the Midweek Herald, the victim said: “I left my black patent bag, with two pounches on the side, at the burger van outside Budgens at around 7.10pm.
“I left it there briefly while I popped into Budgens to get some bacon.
“When I came back it had gone.”
The bag did not contain any cash, but did contain the victim’s trainers, which were wrapped in a Factory Shop bag.
also taken were two newspapers and a magazine in a budgen’s bag, tea cakes in a Warren’s bag, a duster and a notepad.
