I agree totally with what Lizzie Bewsher says in her letter regarding the closure of Lyme Bay Holiday Village. As usual, East Devon District Council has let us down. It shows a total disregard for the opinions of residents and ratepayers of Seaton. If I recall correctly, it once stated that the holiday park had few visitors and was rarely used. Well, we know differently. How can we attract future visitors if the one facility we have is destroyed? Added to which, the visitors who have been coming regularly are devastated at the news of closure, as was made plain when they appeared on TV the other day. They will have to go elsewhere and probably never return. However, the solution seems to be at hand - if only Tesco would agree to the very sensible ideas proposed by David Lee.Let us keep fighting and live in hope that common sense will prevail.
