A Honiton youngster has been congratulated by staff at Honiton Library for reading more than 100 books - and gaining a Booktrack Award.

Thierra Maloney, 11, picked up her certificate after her hundredth read.

Frances Lemmer, of Honiton Library, said: “Thierra has been a delight to listen to and is very enthusiastic about the books she has read.

“Her 100th book was The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy, which has now inspired her to read the whole series.”
