THIS is four-year-old Oscar Evans, of Honiton. He is heartbroken after realising that his missing ride-on tractors have been stolen.

His parents, Mark and Magdalene, shielded him from the truth - until he kept asking where his toys were. Now the family have erected a sign in their garden, hoping the thief will have a conscience and return the tractors.

They were stolen two weeks ago from the Evans' car port in Highfield.

Mr Evans said: "Oscar is optimistic they will be returned."

Police are investigating the thefts.
