Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from across the Axe Valley gathered for a world thinking day service in the Minster Church at Axminster recently.

Also present were group leaders and members of the Trefoil Guild. The event also celebrated the centenary of the founding of the Brownies.

Afterwards county president Mary Jones was joined by three Brownies – representing 2nd Axminster, 1st Uplyme and 1st Seaton – to plant a commemorative rose bush in the churchyard.
