An East Devon road will be temporarily closed for more than a fortnight next month.

The B3174, between Devon Smithy and Daisymount, will be closed for 18 days from Tuesday, November 6.

This will affect some Cranbrook residents as it prevents access from the town east along the B3174 onto the A30.

Residents will either need to use the Clyst Honiton by-pass to get to the A30 and head towards Honiton and beyond or take a back-road diversion through Fenny Bridges to the Iron Bridge.

The Clyst Honiton by-pass is recommended.
