A MAGIC Carpet Exhibition is being held at the Thomas Whitty House in Axminster until the end of September.The free event, in Silver Street, tells the story of the town's first carpet weaver and is open from Wednesdays to Fridays, midday to 4pm and from 10am to midday on Saturdays.Children are invited to enter the Name the Sheep competition and the chosen winning name will win a £20 book token.Closing date for entries to the competition is August 30.
