Three arrested after thefts from cars in Axminster

Police recover property taken from vehicles and appeal for owners to come forward

POLICE arrested three people and recovered a number of items stolen from insecure vehicles in Axminster last week.

Cars and vans in the Musbury Road, Foxhill, Boxfield Road and Lea Combe areas were targeted on Wednesday and Thursday, November 16 and 17.

Officers have now reunited a number of items taken with their owners but still have others to be claimed.

These include a red blanket-like fleece, portable car heater and fan, a Draper timing light, computer notebook card (Belkin), digital camera and a set of microbox twist drills bits inside a tin.
