THREE men were rescued by Lyme Regis RNLI crew when their boat s engine failed yesterday (Monday, May 24).

THREE men were rescued by Lyme Regis RNLI crew when their boat's engine failed yesterday (Monday, May 24).

The 17 foot vessel broke down between Charmouth and Lyme Regis, and a woman ashore called coastguards at 8.55pm.

The boat was towed to the safety of Lyme Regis harbour, in an operation lasting around 45 minutes.
