Seaton mayor Peter Burrows joins party goers to mark 100th birthday

SEATON mayor Peter Burrows joined the Axe Valley’s newest centenarian for champagne celebrations on Friday.

Around 25 guests attended Elsie Ansell’s 100th birthday party, at Elmwood residential home, in Colyford.

A keen member of the Methodist Church, Elsie lived for many years in Scalwell Lane, Seaton, before moving to Elmwood in 2007.
