Axminster youngsters also win badges for learning to ride their bicycles safely
Axminster Beavers are riding high - winning awards and taking part in a new cycling initiative.
The section’s highest honour – the Chief Scout Bronze award – was recently presented to five young members of the troop.
The youngsters, who had to achieve six challenge badges to win the award, were Archie Carson-Duckett, Russell Bracey, Harrison Griffiths, Jacob Parker and Louis Souttar-Stone
And the Beavers have also been going for their cycle badge, which was recently introduced by the Scout Association
They have been honing their riding skills on the car park at Mole Avon which the company has kindly allowed them to use.
Twenty youngsters passed the test which involved looking after safety equipment, knowing how to pump up a tyre and being competent rider.
