Daryl Turner tops Lyme poll as local district council seats go to the Conservatives
THE Conservatives are celebrating today after capturing all three West Dorset District Council seats in Lyme Regis and Charmouth.
Daryl Turner topped the poll at Lyme with 716 votes just ahead of his fellow Tory George Symonds on 654.
Unsuccessful candidates were Patrick Hicks (Ind) with 578, Owen Lovell (Ind) with 506 and Ann Sargent (Lib Dem) who polled 504.
At Charmouth Tory Jane Bremer captured the single seat with 455 votes ahead of Laura France Noel (Lib Dem) with 355.
