Excitement in Cranbrook hit fever-pitch when elite cyclists saddled up to compete in the second stage of the Tour of Britain this morning.
Younghayes Road was packed with spectators from top to bottom as people tried to grab the best spot to view the cyclists whizz by.
The road leading to Cranbrook’s train station was also crowded as coaches parked up and showcased various cycles ahead of the race.
A great cheer went up as the cyclists took off towards Ottery St Mary as part of the 108 mile route leading through countryside across East Devon, Mid Devon and North Devon.
