Tour of Britain: Injured police motorcyclist thanks good Samaritans

A POLICE motorbike rider, who was part of the Tour of Britain escort party, came off his bike in between Awliscombe and Honiton and needed hospital treatment.

A POLICE motorbike rider, who was part of the Tour of Britain escort party, came off his bike in between Awliscombe and Honiton and needed hospital treatment.

David Hayes is now recovering after sustaining factures in last Friday's accident.

He would like to thank Tour of Britain spectators from a farm, who pulled his bike off him.
