Lyme Regis musicians thrill audiences at their Christmas concert
More than a hundred people got the festive period well under way as Lyme Regis Town Band struck all the right notes with its Christmas concert at the Woodmead Halls.
Among the highlights was a solo called Tuba Smarties by band chairman Paul Snowball who was also celebrating his 57th birthday.
Apart from the music there were performance awards for band members Catherine Lancaster, Kathy Smith and Grace Haskins.
The band’s librarian John Case won the Gordon Broom award for the fifth time.
