AS Councillor Vivienne Ash signed a legal document formally transferring ownership of Honiton's ancient street market from East Devon District Council to the town council, she revealed a building could be the focus of a future asset transfer bid.The acting chairman of Honiton Town Council stated the Senior Citizens' Centre and council offices, in New Street, might be the subject of a future request.Honiton Town Council currently leases the building from the district authority.
