IT proved third time lucky for two Honiton women who finally made it into the London Marathon. Tracey Dingle, 45, of Manor Crescent, and Tina Stevens, 41, of Jerrard Close, will be taking part in the high profile event on March 26 for charity. The pair decided to raise money for MACS (the Micro and Anophthalmic Children's Society), for children born blind or partially sighted.Tracey said: "This charity is important, because we know some people who have children who have been born blind or with eye defects. MACS supports the family and the children themselves."Tina and I have been running for a number of years and have been trying to get into the London Marathon for the past two years."There is a collection tin at the bar in the Volunteer Inn if anybody would like to make a donation.
