Tractor completely destroyed in morning blaze near Honiton

A tractor was destroyed in a blaze which broke out in Wilmington this morning (Tuesday).

Fire crews from Honiton and Axminster rushed to the scene, at Suttons Cross, at 11.01am.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The telehandler was 100 0per cent damaged by fire.

“It was extinguished by fire crews using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one compressed air foam jet, a drag fork and thermal image camera.”
