I read with interest the letter from a resident of Oaklea in Honiton.I am a resident on Church Hill in Honiton and I have to agree with the resident of Oaklea. Has he tried to drive down, or indeed up, Church Hill? At the top of the hill cars are parked on the brow of a hill, as well as on a bend. It is, indeed, dangerous to say the least, especially considering the speed that some cars travel up and down the hill. Driving past the doctors' surgery is another interesting experience. At least one side of the road is impassable, especially when a bus has stopped at the inappropriately placed bus stop. Does the council or the highways department ever look around the town to see these problems for themselves?I have to say that most of the cars do appear to come from people using the railway station; perhaps Network Rail should improve the parking facilities for their customers.Name suppliedChurch HillHoniton
