Tractor spills its load of mud and rocks across the pavement

A trailer being towed by a tractor overturned in Axminster on Friday afternoon, ending up on a garden wall.

The accident happened at Rougemont Terrace, in Musbury Road, at around 3.30pm.

Police say the tractor had been negotiating the sharp bend from King Edward Road heading south when it flipped over, landing upside down onto the footpath and spilling its load of mud and rocks.

A spokesman said there were no injuries but the clean up operation and recovery of the trailer lead to traffic tailbacks.
