Transition Town mark the United Nations conference

Transition Town Honiton launch a week of awareness events to inform people about environmental issues.

Catch a new display this week in Honiton aimed at raising awareness of the United Nations sustainable development conference.

Transition Town Honiton has helped to put the display together at Honiton Library which contains information on a range of environmental issues as well as a special collection of books on climate change and growing your own food which are available to borrow.

To mark the start of the conference Transition Town Honiton will also be hosting a free screening, sponsored by the Co-operative Bank, of In Transition 2.0 at Honiton Community College on (tonight) Wednesday, at 7.30pm.
