Fortunate driver is not thought to be seriously injured

Monday’s torrential rains (November 21) brought down a tree on a car on the B3165 between Yawl and Burrowshot, near Uplyme.

The lucky driver is not thought to have been seriously injured.

Police attended, controlling traffic, until at about 3.45pm and the road was closed for recovery work to be undertaken.
