THE chairman of East Devon District Council, Paul Diviani, was among the dignitaries to attend a tree planting ceremony in Honiton last weekend.

THE chairman of East Devon District Council, Paul Diviani, was among the dignitaries to attend a tree planting ceremony in Honiton last weekend.A copper beech tree was planted at the Glen by Honiton Town Council in memory of Councillor Chris Tratt, who died suddenly last year.Councillor Tratt was Honiton's mayor at the time of his death.Acting chairman of the town council Vivienne Ash and other councillors were present for the occasion.
