Dr Grant Neumegen is described as a ‘wonderful’ doctor who will be sadly missed following his tragic death, aged 49
Tributes have been paid to a ‘truly special’ Seaton doctor, whose death left his family, colleagues and patients shocked and saddened.
Dr Grant Neumegen, who worked at the Townsend House medical centre, was found dead at his home in Sidmouth on Friday August 2. He was 49.
Police are treating the death as ‘unexplained’ but with no suspicious circumstances.
Dr Neumegen had been working at Townsend House since 2007 and was a much loved member of the team. Colleagues say he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Tributes on Facebook described him as a ‘truly special, one of a kind doctor”, who “always had time for his patients”.
Another said: “Such sad news. He was a true gentleman, wonderful doctor and always lovely to work with. My thoughts are with his family and friends. Rest in peace x”
A third wrote: “A genuine gentleman with a passion for quality, patient-centred care. His dedication and inspiration was infectious. He always made you smile.”
