Alec Small, of 1064 Squadron Honiton Air Training corps, travelled to St James' Palace in London to receive his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.He made the trip on Tuesday last week and was presented with the award by Sian Williams, of the BBC. The Duke of Edinburgh attended the ceremony and talked with the recipients after the presentation. Alec completed all three of the awards with the help and support of the air Training Corps in Honiton.
