The incident happened this morning (Friday) at 6.15am, in Millhead Road.
These pictures show the aftermath of a collision which happened in Honiton.
Police attended the scene after a collection truck slid off the road and into a fence.

A police spokesman confirmed that the vehicle slid on black ice, and the driver was unharmed.
Police have issued warnings this month about black ice on the roads, and urged motorists to take extra care.
