Chardstock tractor rally raises £1,000 for worthy causes
Chardstock Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club’s annual trundle raised more than £1,000 for worthy causes.
The Devon, Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance was amongst the charities to benefit this year, with other recipients yet to be decided.
There was a half-way stop at the Old Inn, Hawkchurch, before the trundle continued to Fishponds and then went an off road at Forde Abbey. A tasty ploughman’s lunch was enjoyed when they got back to Chardstock, beautifully prepared and presented by Glo Fowler and her trusty staff.
Clun secretary Jan Bond said the scenery was amazing and they wanted to thank everyone involved for their generosity - from the committee to the members and their families and the public who went to watch.
