Firefighters free female casualty from the wreckage

Fire appliances from Colyton and Seaton attended a road traffic collision on the A358 at Musbury involving two vehicles yesterday lunchtime (1.30pm, Monday, July 25).

On arrival one person was still within the vehicle and a further casualty was receiving first aid.

Police, ambulance and highways also attended the incident.

Fire crews had to extricate one female casualty from one vehicle and both casualties were airlifted to hospital.

Both vehicles were made safe and small tools, medical equipment and an environment agency pack were used at this incident.

The road was closed for some time.
