Two car collision in Awliscombe

The incident, which involved a red Ford KA and a silver Mercedes, happened on the A373 shortly before 8am this morning (Thursday).

Police were called to the scene of a collision on the outskirts of Awliscombe this morning (Thursday, April 7).

The incident, which involved a red Ford KA and a silver Mercedes, happened on the A373 shortly before 8am.

A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said that no-one was injured in the collision.

They added that the incident happened on the edge of the village, heading towards Honiton.

The road was partially blocked, causing slow-moving traffic.

Recovery of the vehicles started at 9.10am, and the road was clear by 9.25am.
