Three vehicle collision causes traffic hold ups on A35 on the eatern end of town bypass

Two people received minor injuries in a three car collision near Axminster on Friday afternoon

The accident happened at the Lyme Road junction with the A35, just off the eastern end of the town’s bypass.

The casualties were treated at the scene by Ambulance crew.

The crash left was a considerable amount of debris across the carriageway, causing traffic delays, although the road remained open.

A police spokesman said that following the incident one motorist had been reported for driving without due care.
