Axminster firm’s £150 donation to the Lyme Regis RNLI team
A cheque for £150 was presented to the volunteer crew of Lyme Regis RNLI lifeboat yesterday (Sunday) thanks to motorists who bought tyres at an Axminster garage.
Tonia Lawson and her husband Brian, proprietors of Country Motors, handed over the donation on behalf of Kumho Tyres as part of its Cash for Causes project.
Customers were invited to choose between Axminster Hospital and the RNLI, and both have received a donation from the tyre company.
