A HONITON man, who organised daytime ballroom dancing for people who said they would attend, was the only person to show up for the dance.Pensioner Les Brew was so disappointed when nobody else turned up at the Royal British Legion last Friday that he vowed not to hold another daytime event."It was �70 down the drain," he told the Herald."I'm so disappointed, because people said they would come."However, a new idea is now waltzing around in Mr Brew's head.He added: "Maybe, I'll consider organising a ballroom dance for an evening."Watch this space.
