What exactly is a "best value" tourist information centre? (Midweek Herald of March 18). And why does Seaton Town Council need to meet in secret to discuss it? I was intrigued, so I popped into the TIC to speak to the manager. However, I was told that she was away. When I probed a little further, I discovered that she had also been away when the town council had their secret discussions, taking decisions about the TIC that she is employed to manage.Discussions about the TIC, without the TIC manager - and behind closed doors.
