Unmanned boat recovered off Lyme

Cabin Cruiser drifted out of the harbour

Lyme Regis Coastguards were scrambled last night (Sunday, June 23) after a 999 call to report an unmanned cabin cruiser drifting to the east of the resort at around 6pm

The boat had apparently floated out of the harbour entrance.

A local fisherman was able to recover the vessel and tow it back to the harbour.
