Police say the heavyweight likeness of a little girl would have taken some effort to remove
POLICE are hunting strong-arm thieves who stole a weighty statue from a garden at Thorncombe, on February 1.
The 4ft high likeness of a young girl in a bonnet, holding a bowl, is thought to be unique.
Police say it is very heavy and would have taken some effort to steal.
The statue has a bronze-look, although it is not actually made from metal.
