Victim remains in hospital.
Detectives investigating an attack on a doorman in Honiton say they have not yet established what caused a serious injury.
The victim, who was working at The Orange Tree, in High Street, when he was assaulted at around 12.40am on New Year’s day, sustained “a nasty laceration to his upper neck/lower jaw area”, police have told the Midweek Herald.
