Fifty-two-year-old driver arrested after fatal crash comes from Colyton
The driver of a Renault Megane who died in an accident on the A3052 at Hangman’s Stone yesterday (Monday) came from Seaton, police have revealed.
They are expected to name the victim, who was in his 60s, later today.
The driver of the other car involved in the collision – a 52 year old man, who escaped with minor injuries – came from Colyton.
He is in custody after being arrested in connection with the crash.
Police collision investigators are keen to hear from any witnesses who were travelling on the A3052 prior to the collision and may have seen his distinctive Audi R8 Coupe, or any other vehicle which may have been involved, to contact them to contact them on 101 quoting police reference 387 300112.
