A SHELTERED housing area, managed by Magna Housing, is at the centre of a forensic investigation by police in Lyme Regis following the discovery of a man s body earlier today.

A SHELTERED housing area, managed by Magna Housing, is at the centre of a forensic investigation by police in Lyme Regis following the discovery of a man's body earlier today.

Residents say police are still at an address in Staples Terrace, which runs along Anning Road, almost eight hours after the alarm was raised.

It is understood by this newspaper that the dead man, who has not been formally identified, is a pensioner.

Police have also been active at the junction of Anning Road and Colway Lane.
