The front seat passenger of a car involved in a collsion at Hunters Lodge crossroads last week has died.

A 90-year-old woman, who was seriously injured, following an accident at the Hunters Lodge crossroads near Axminster has died.

The woman has not yet been named by police and died yesterday (Wednesday).

She was the front seat passenger in a car which was involved in a collision with a Renault Kangoo van last Wednesday on the A35.

The 85-year-old woman, who was driving the car has been released from hospital.
