Local horticultural society will hear what can be found in hedgerows to treat various ailments
Members of Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society will hear a talk on Hedgerow Medicine, at 7.30pm in Uplyme Village Hall on Wednesday, February 28.
Speaker Helen Kearney, who will tell members which common plants can be used to treat certain ailments and what can be made from them.
The potato tubers and buckets for the ‘Potato in a Bucket Challenge’ at July’s Summer Show will also be available at a cost of £2.50.
Tea and biscuits are available before and after the talk - members go in free, visitors pay £3.
