Urgent appeal for vigilance

FOLLOWING a spate of garage break-ins in Honiton last weekend, police are urging those who live close to isolated blocks of garages to be extra vigilant. Locked garages in Whitebridges, Highfield and Goslin Walk were targeted by opportunist thieves.

FOLLOWING a spate of garage break-ins in Honiton last weekend, police are urging those who live close to isolated blocks of garages to be extra vigilant. Locked garages in Whitebridges, Highfield and Goslin Walk were targeted by opportunist thieves. The break-ins were reported on Monday. Anybody who hears or sees anything suspicious is urged to call police immediately on 08452 777444 or, if a crime is in progress, dial 999 without hesitation.
