Valentine’s ball on at Smeatharpe hall

The fun will start from 7.30pm until late on Saturday, February 13.

A grand Valentine’s ball will be held in Smeatharpe next week.

Presented by Upottery Airfield USAAF Station 462, the event will be put on at the village hall on Saturday (February 13).

The fun will start from 7.30pm until late, with music provided by Ricky Hunter and The Krazy Kats.

There will also be a DJ and a bar supplied by the 1940s Roadshow.

The preferred dress code for the event is forties style, but it is not mandatory.

Tickets are £7 for adults and £4 for children.

Those interested in attending are urged to pre-book by calling Trish or Dave on 01404 890174.

People are also invited to put on their dancing shoes for a fundraising dance for Upottery Nissen Hut Heritage Centre.
