A well attended Valentine’s dance has enabled Upottery Living History Group to present Smeatherpe Village Hall – where the event took place - with a cheque for £100.
The money will be used towards the redecoration of the building which was used by the 9th USAAF as a canteen during WW2. Group secretary Trish Knowlesis pictured presenting the cheque to the village hall treasurer John Cornish, alongside committee members.
