Coach will leave Honiton at 7am.

Seats are still available on a luxury coach trip from Honiton to the National Memorial Arboretum.

Organised to coincide with the annual Baton Run, the trip is taking place on Sunday, June 17.

The coach will leave High Street from outside St Paul’s Church at 7am and will depart for the return journey at 4.30pm.

Runners representing the Honiton-based Baton charity are expected to arrive at the arboretum at midday.

Alan Rowe MBE, founder of the charity, said: “So many think the National Memorial Arboretum is a cemetery of sorts, which it isn’t.

“It is not solely a military memorial park as there are many civilian memorials there too.

“Everyone should see it once and, if anyone hasn’t seen it, then this is a great opportunity to do so.”

Tickets, which include entry to the arboretum, cost £25 each and are available from Alan Rowe Barbering or by calling 01404 47535.
