Over 2,000 pieces of litter collected
MORE than 2,000 pieces of litter, weighing 65kg, were collected from Seaton beach by volunteers today (Sunday).
Thirty- four volunteers took part in the National Annual Beach Weekend clean-up, arranged locally by Axe Vale and District Conservation Society for the Marine Conservation Society
Details of the clean-up event have been sent to the Marine Conservation Society, which will collate the results from around the country.
Ian Waite, from the conservation society, would like to thank all those who gave their time and effort.
