Due to black ice, I skidded to a halt going out of Stockland at 6.30am one day recently. It was freezing! In total, at one stage, there were 11 cars stuck on the same hill - all motorists trying to get to work.Thankfully, Ray Hembrow, Chris Hembrow, Sean Scotland and Mr and Mrs Hackett came and carried the heavy grit bags, and helped all of us move safely. Two hours of hard labour on their parts.Perhaps, if the gent who was moaning at the fish and chip van later, had helped it might have been done more quickly. At least, the people who were stuck know those who helped and thank you. Wendy ScotlandCokers ElmStockland
