Cash gift presented
Quality supermarket chain Waitrose has supported Honiton Memory Cafe with a donation of 250.
A cheque for the amount was presented to Min Reynolds and Heather Penwarden, who run the cafe, by the supermarket’s Sidmouth store manager, Simon Perry.
The cafe has gone from strength to strength since being established with strong support from Honiton Senior Council and local health professionals, including retired experts.
A need for the cafe was identified after a question mark was placed over the future of The Bungalow, which was built to cater for dementia sufferers.
