Tally ho! The utterly splendid Devon countryside around Deer Park is soon to be open to one and all for this year’s Jolly Good Jaunt.
Tweed clothing will be present in abundance on Sunday, October 23.
In addition to being a fun and enjoyable way to raise much-needed funds for local charity Hospiscare, the jaunt also offers the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of Deer Park. Set in 80 acres of gorgeous East Devon countryside, the 7.5-mile walk starts and finishes at the Deer Park Country Hotel.
Hospiscare event fundraiser Charlotte Knipe said: “The Deer Park is the perfect venue for a Jolly Good Jaunt; the grounds are stunning and the hotel and all of their staff are terribly accommodating and supportive of the event. We are so grateful to The Deer Park for ensuring the jaunt is a success for Hospiscare and Kings House.”
Return to this fine venue after the walk to enjoy the grounds, have tea and coffee in their wonderful new orangery and enjoy a free hog roast kindly provided by Devon Hog Roast with the pig supplied by Denhay.
