Fresh faces are being sought for Honiton Community Theatre Company’s 2017 production of Aladdin.

The company is currently hunting for actors, singers and helpers for the stageshow, which is being directed by Beth Hibbert.

She will be ably assisted by producer Tracey Bonetta, and joined by choreographer Sarah Pottinger, who has been involved with previous productions.

Ian Crew will be returning as musical director.

Chairman Shaun Bonetta said: “Following on from our success of Peter Pan last year, I am delighted that we have been able to secure the services of our fantastic creative team for another year. We can now start to plan what should be another sell-out show and bring Aladdin to life on stage at The Beehive.”

There will be principal roles as well as smaller chorus roles available for those interested.

There are also various roles backstage where helpers can get stuck in and do their bit, from scenery painting to costume design and front of house.

Key dates are as follows:

Sunday, September 18, first workshop from 1.15pm to 3.15pm.

Sunday, September 25, second workshop, from 1.15pm to 3.15pm.
